WHO ARE PVRIS?
PVRIS (pronounced Paris) is an American rock band from Lowell, Massachusetts formed by members Lynn Gunn, Alex Babinski, and Brian MacDonald. The band formed originally under the name Paris but later changed it to PVRIS in thesummer of 2013 citing legal reasons. They released a self-titled EP and an acoustic EP before signing to Rise and Velocity Records. They released the single St. Patrick on June 24, 2014, along with a music video. They released theirdebut album, White Noise, in November 2014, and the deluxe version of White Noise on April 22, 2016. On August 25, 2017, they released their second album All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell.
AllMusic biographer wrote that the group blend dreamy electronica with dark, beat-heavy rock. Rob Sayce of Rock Sound described their sound as a combined mixture of dark electro-pop and stadium-sized rock. Metro describedthem as an alternative rock act that fused electro-pop backdrops with rhythm-driven dark rock music. White Noise has been described as electropop, pop, psychedelic, and synth-pop.

Lyndsey Gerd Gunnulfsen (born March 15, 1994), usually known by her stage name Lynn Gunn, is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Gunn is best known for fronting the American rock band PVRIS, although she has also made several solo collaborations with artists such as Tonight Alive and A Loss For Words.
Lyndsey Gunnulfsen grew up in Lowell, Massachusetts. She has spoken about her lifelong fascination with graveyards, death, and the occult, stating that this was the inspiration behind many of the paranormal and macabre themes in her song-writing. Gunn has stated that she has struggled with depression, and that this was a major inspiration for much of her song-writing.
